The Gorleben Rundschau is a regional journal that deals with the dangers of nuclear waste disposal as well as nuclear energy and informs local residents around Gorleben and interested parties about this topic. It is an information journal that addresses ecological and regional issues. The redesign is intended to reach new readers in order to further raise awareness of the issue of nuclear waste disposal and nuclear energy.

The new design of the journal aims to convey a sensitivity for the content. It is characterised by a variety of different fonts and typographic details. In order to create a uniform visual language from the existing image material, these were coloured in the same colour as the text. This results in a layout that presents content in a structured, calm manner and supports information through attention to detail.
